Notice is given that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Elmira Heights, N.Y. Will conduct a Public
Hearing at 7:00 pm on October 1, 2024 at the Village Complex 215 Elmwood Avenue, Elmira Heights
N.Y. Regarding Local Law #2 of 2024 to change Section 209 of the Elmira Heights Village Codes regarding
Parking Schedules. Copies of the proposed local law are available at the Village Hall during regular
business hours.

ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

The Elmira Heights Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 7:00pm, at the Elmira Heights Village Hall, 215 Elmwood Avenue, Elmira Heights, NY, for a use variance regarding 100 McCauley Ave. Mr. Wallace Kohler III wishes to relocate his gym at this property, which is not zoned for commercial use. All interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard at this time.

The next public and stakeholder input survey is now live on the Chemung County Planning Department website (link is below). This simple one question survey is asking the public and stakeholders to give input on the types of actions they would like to see our municipalities and the county take for future mitigation projects and planning.
