Welcome to Elmira Heights

Elmira Heights is a quiet community of about 4,200 people, with a Civic Administration Center housing Village Hall, Police, and Fire Departments, Engineering, Code Enforcement, Urban Renewal Agency, and the Village Court. Three beautiful parks grace the area with two of them housing the Little League and the Cinderella League and the third one is complete with a gazebo, concession stand and pavilion, offering concerts and events during the summer.

The Elmira Heights Village Elections will be held on September 15, 2020 at the Elmira Heights Village Hall, located at 215 Elmwood Ave, Elmira Heights, NY between the hours of 12:00 noon and 9:00 PM.

There are 3 positions up for election:

             Mayor , Trustee 1, Trustee 2


Margaret D. Smith, 285 Robinwood Ave, for Mayor: 4 year term

Terence Amberg, 120 Cleveland St., for Trustee: 4 year term

Jared Aiosa, 126 West 14th St. Apt. A, for Trustee: 4 year term


There will be a Special Elmira Heights Village Board meeting on September 1, 2020, 7:00 PM at the Village Hall open to the public.

Please be aware of social distancing and mask are mandatory.


Just a reminder, to receive garbage stickers via mail send a self addressed stamped envelope, with a check payable to the Village Clerk.

Sticker price is $2.50

You may also purchase garbage stickers at the 7-11 on the corner of  Oakwood and 13th St.    

Street Signs


Old street signs that have been replaced with new ones, are now on sale at the village.  Anyone wishing to purchase may inquire with the Village Clerks Office.Image result for street signs images
