HometownHero (2)We are excited to announce that the Village of Elmira heights and the Elmira Heights Legion Post 154 have partnered together to bring you the “EH HOMETOWN HEROES” banner program! orders are being taken for phase one of the program to start Memorial Day 2021- Veterans day 2024. We will begin on the 14th St. Business District and expand to other streets as the orders come in. Any size photo can be used. The banners will be double sided 2×4 heavy vinyl and includes the hanging brackets for $200. Because of the harsh winters, the banners will be removed after Veterans Day every year and stored until spring. After the three year period, you will have the option of renewing for another three years for $125 or you may choose to take your banner home. We are pleased to have partnered with a local long time business here in the Heights, Golos printing. Applications are available by calling or emailing the American Legion at #607-734-1441 (leave message) or request by email to EHlegion154@yahoo.com. Applications will also be available at the Village hall during normal business hours. This is a great opportunity for all of us to be able to take a moment to “look up” to a real Hero! Get your order in so it can be ready for the first showing, Memorial Day 2021!
