Tax Season has begun!
Resident homeowners have until July 1st to pay their taxes without penalty. As that deadline approaches, we would like to encourage anyone mailing a tax payment close to the deadline to go to the postal service counter to receive a hand-cancelled postmark that shows the date. This is because postmarks are typically applied at the regional hub, and that date may be a day or more after it was dropped off at a local office. Any tax payments made using the June payment amount, but postmarked after July 1st, will not be accepted.
