SPECIAL MEETING

Village of Elmira Heights Board of Trustee will hold a Special Meeting on April 12, 2019 at 11:00 am for the Clerk to present the Tentative Budget to the Board of Trustees also to move money for retro payment and to set a Public Hearing for the Budget.

SPRING BRANCH PICKUP

THE SPRING BRANCH PICKUP FOR THE VILLAGE WILL BE CONDUCTED FROM APRIL 1, 2019 UNTIL APRIL 30, 2019 ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES:

  1.  STACK BRANCHES NEATLY WITH BUTT ENDS FACING THE SAME DIRECTION
  2.   STACK BRANCHES PARALLEL WITH THE CURB OR STREET
  3. NO LEAVES 
  4. NO GRASS CLIPPINGS OR YARD DEBRIS
  5. NO VINES OR BUSHES WITH ROOTS
  6. NO PILES OF ENTANGLED LILAC BUSHES OR OTHER MATERIAL
  7. NO TREE REMOVAL
  8.  THIS IS NOT A YARD CLEAN UP
  9. PILES NOT CONFORMING TO THESE GUIDELINES WILL BE LEFT AT THE CURBSIDE.  THE LAST DAY TO PUT ANYTHING OUT IS APRIL 29, 2019

CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER NEEDED

The Village of Elmira Heights is accepting applications for a Code Enforcement Officer PT/FT depending on applicant’s qualifications.  Applications are available at the Village Hall, 215 Elmwood Ave., Elmira Heights, N.Y. 14903 during business hours, Monday – Friday (8:30 am – 4:30 pm).  All applications must be in no later than March 29, 2019.

Street Signs

Old street signs that have been replaced with new ones, are now on sale at the village.  Anyone wishing to purchase may inquire with the Village Clerks Office.
